Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders-Intervention Training

  • Development and implementation of an online training program for CASA volunteers on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD).
  • Training will focus on identifying children with FASD, teaching intervention strategies to use on behalf of children with FASD, offering ways to assist these children in the justice system, etc.

University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio

Accidental and Inflicted Mechanisms of Injury in Children: A CD ROM for investigative, legal, and law enforcement professionals.

  • Development and distribution of a DVD that characterizes injuries in young children involving internal structures commonly encountered by child welfare professionals.
  • DVD will include highly detailed and completely described anatomy, coupled with animated visual depictions of the injuries/anatomies/mechanisms.

2009 Crimes Against Children Conference

  • Crimes Against Children Conference provides practical instruction to those professionals responsible for combating the many and varied forms of crimes against children, using current information, the newest ideas and most successful intervention strategies.

This comprehensive clinic offers a unique opportunity to participate in an intensive 40-hour training experience and have personal interaction with leading experts in the field of child forensic interviewing.

National Symposium on Child Abuse
